Apple 'Marie Ménard'
The yield of the cider apple 'Marie Menard' is large and regular . The colour of the fruit is beige-yellow with a streaked red blush.
The flavour is bittersweet, ideal for making cider or juice, but also suitable for jelly, vinegar or cooked apples. Harvest time is late October.
The must is of very high quality, bitter and rich in tannin.
Together with other varieties, it will give a balanced cider, with the Marie Menard providing colour, roundness and finesse.
