Walnut 'Coenen'

Juglans regia 'Coenen'

Walnut 'Coenen'
The walnut tree 'Coenen' is a Dutch variety. It is a strong grower and can grow about 15-18 metres high. This variety has a wide, upright crown.

This variety sprouts early, which makes it sensitive to late night frost in spring.

Gives a good harvest. The fairly large nuts (approx. 5 cm) have an excellent taste and keep well.

The variety is very suitable for private use and for example food forests.
